WAGES Wayne County First Steps
is the premiere child abuse and neglect prevention program at WAGES.
Through building a positive relationship with families First Steps' social
workers help families to:
- Improve health of mother and child
- Establish a medical home
- Enhance the quality of the home environment
- Increase bonding and attachment between parents
and children
- Build social support systems
- Become connected with community resources
WAGES Wayne County First Steps has been recognized
as Wayne County's affiliate agency for
Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina. First Steps is also a
member of Prevent
Child Abuse America.
