| WAGES
Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) serves income-eligible
elderly and disabled families. The program assesses the air leakage in
homes using a Blower Door System and then determines the most efficient
means to improve the energy efficiency of the home.
The
HARRP program focuses on the repair and/or replacement of
heating and cooling devices in the homes of eligible elderly and disabled
families.
The
goal of WAP and HARRP is to help the eligible population live healthier
and more comfortably and enable them to heat and cool their homes more
cost-efficiently. The program serves families in Wayne, Greene, and Lenoir
Counties.
The Weatherization Program
